Members of the TEC LGBTQ+ Caucus have been monitoring events leading up to the 2022 Lambeth Conference of Anglican Bishops (July 26-August 8.) In the last few days, that work has expanded to tracking responses to the breaking news that the conference — billed as a time of study, reflection and reconciliation — now includes “affirming” a collection of “calls:” including one to reaffirm Lambeth 1998 Resolution 1.10. stating that “it is the mind of the Anglican Communion as a whole that same gender marriage is not permissible.”
